This Basque white wine comes from Getariako Txakolina, a coastal appellation famed for its fresh and low alcohol wines. It is produced by the Txomin Etxaniz family, the oldest recorded estate in the region, established in 1649.
Vines grow on steep, sea-facing slopes near Getaria, trained high to improve airflow in the humid Atlantic climate. Hand-harvested Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza ferment in stainless steel, then age on lees to retain freshness and a natural spritz.
