Each varietal - merlot, cabernet, and sangiovese - underwent separate fermentation in small steel tanks to preserve their distinctive qualities. Following alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation occurred once more, this time in steel tanks.
The wine then ages for 10 months, a portion in barriques previously utilised for the estate's esteemed flagship wine, 'Ornellaia,' and another portion in concrete tanks. This meticulous process aimed to achieve the ideal equilibrium between tannic structure and the expression of fresh fruit
