Rosemaund 10 Year Old Inaugural Release Whisky

The inaugural release of Rosemaund 10-Year-Old Whisky marks a confident new chapter for this Herefordshire family farm distillery. Crafted from Maris Otter barley and distilled among the old apple orchards of Rosemaund Farm, this first edition captures the character of the land with exceptional clarity and depth. 

A marriage of eleven casks distilled in 2014 and 2015, the whisky is built upon a foundation of bourbon casks, supported by a delicate “seasoning” of full-term sherry-matured whisky. 

• On the nose, the whisky opens with polished oak, fragrant meadowsweet, malted biscuit and cinnamon-spiced plum, layered with baked red apple and candied orange peel.
• The palate follows with a sophisticated balance of dried fruit, mature tobacco spice, ginger, black pepper, orange zest and a subtle malty sweetness - grippy, poised and beautifully structured.
• The finish is both long and characterful, revealing hints reminiscent of a dry Manhattan cocktail.

Limited to approximately 2,700 numbered bottles, it represents a decade of patient craft and true field-to-bottle whisky making.
