This full-bodied red from Portugal’s Alentejo region blends native grapes with Cabernet Sauvignon. It shows rich black fruit, spice and dark chocolate, with smooth tannins and a long finish. Aged 12 months in American and French oak, then 8 months in bottle.
Produced by Esporao, one of Portugal’s largest organic wine producers, the estate has been certified organic since 2019. Vines average 20 years old and grow on granite-schist soils with loam and clay. Each variety is fermented separately in stainless steel, concrete and marble vats before blending.
