Bathtub Gin Old Tom is a traditional sweetened gin made in Kent by Ableforth’s, known for its award-winning small-batch spirits. This expression revives the 18th-century Old Tom style, once popular in London’s underground gin scene. The name comes from the tomcat-shaped plaques used to discreetly dispense gin to passers-by.
Crafted using cold compounding, the gin is infused with botanicals like juniper, cardamom, orange peel and liquorice root. The result is a rich, full-bodied gin with a touch of sweetness and a warming spice. It is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
