This volcanic white wine comes from Tenerife’s Orotava Valley, made from indigenous Listan Blanco grown on dramatic Atlantic facing slopes. Vinos Atlante is a small scale project led by Alfonso Torrente, focusing on old vines and minimal intervention Canary Islands wine.
Grapes are foot trodden and fermented with native yeasts, then aged gently in cement and neutral barrels. This restrained approach preserves freshness, salinity and the distinctive volcanic character that defines Tenerife white wine.
