This rum from Mount Gay is a pioneering extra old rum. Meticulous crafting of small-batch blend of handpicked aged rums. Distilling using time-honoured copper pot and column stills. Maturing this exquisite spirit for 5 to 17 years in an array of casks, including those that once held American whiskey, Bourbon, and Cognac.

- The nose primarily has good oak, dry and a good balance of fragrances with a moderate intensity of general aroma leading to a sweeter and more aromatic aroma
- A perfect balance with the sweet fruit notes and light banana hints of well matured doubled distilled rum. A light burnt-wood character with subtle sugar cane notes
- A light bodied taste with a great level of well digested wood characters which harmonises well with the aroma
