Tobermory 2004 Oloroso Cask Matured Single Malt Scotch Whisky
This single vintage Tobermory has been assembled from a batch of Oloroso Sherry casks filled in 2004 and bottled as a 17-year-old in 2021 at a natural strength of 55.9%.
This Scottish Whisky is golden yellow in colour. The nose is packed full of toffee and caramel, followed by almonds, blackcurrant, and a hint of spice. On the palate, rose petals, tropical fruit, walnuts, cherry, and creamy toffee balanced with oak, and hints of leather. The Whisky has an unusually dry and nutty finish with ginger spice.
Like all Tobermory Single Malt Whiskies, this release is non-chill filtered and natural in colour. Fully matured in Oloroso sherry casks, this edition is limited to 11,124 bottles.
