Gran Centenario Anejo Tequila is produced in Jalisco Mexico from 100 percent blue weber agave grown in the Highlands where mineral rich soils and a cooler climate contribute to the agaves distinctive flavour profile. The tequila is aged in new American oak barrels allowing flavours to develop greater depth and complexity.
- On the nose it offers layered aromas of toasted oak vanilla caramel and cooked agave complemented by subtle notes of dried fruit and spice.
- The palate is smooth and full bodied showing a balance of rich oak influence with sweet agave character.
- Flavours of butterscotch cinnamon and roasted nuts are supported by a silky texture leading into a long warming finish.
Pairs well with food complementing smoky grilled meats roasted pork dark chocolate desserts or aged cheeses.
