Suntory 100th Anniversary Edition Whisky

Suntory's whisky legacy began when Shinjiro Torii founded the company in Osaka, Japan, initially known as Kotobukiya. His vision aimed to craft a unique Japanese whisky rivalling Scotch in quality. In 1923, Suntory unveiled its inaugural whisky, Shirofuda, laying the foundation for future success.

The ground breaking Yamazaki Distillery in Kyoto emerged as Japan's first malt whisky distillery. Its distinctive climate and pristine water source contributed to exceptional whiskies, garnering acclaim locally and abroad.

Even amid the challenges of WWII, Suntory persevered, introducing Kakubin post-war, a blended whisky that catapulted the company to prominence in Japan.

Suntory's innovation continued with the 1963 establishment of the Hakushu Distillery in the Japanese Alps and the introduction of "Highball" cocktails, sparking a global trend.

In 1989, Suntory launched Hibiki, a premium blended whisky that exemplified their commitment to quality and craftsmanship, earning numerous awards and global recognition.

To mark its 100-year milestone, Suntory released limited-edition whiskies. A tribute to their dedication, innovation, and relentless pursuit of perfection.
