A ten year old Single Malt Whisky, Glenmorangie Original is produced by marrying the delicate spirit that emerges from Scotland's Tallest stills, with the first and second fill American white oak casks.
It is here, maturing for ten long years in a range of ex-bourbon casks such as the famous slow-grown and air-dried 'designer casks' from Missouri, that allows for the development of a perfect balance between sweetness and complexity. This results is a mature Whisky that is soft, mellow and creamy. The aroma of this Scottish Whisky is the scent of citrus and ripening peaches which is softened by an aroma of vanilla. This finish is clean and fresh with a hint of original and peach.
