This premium red blend is crafted in South Africa’s Franschhoek Valley, where hand-harvested fruit from select vineyard sites is vinified in a Bordeaux-inspired style. Grapes are fermented in wooden vats and stainless steel tanks, followed by 16–20 days of skin contact. The wine is aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak barrels to build structure and polish.
Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons is a partnership between the Rupert family of South Africa and the Rothschild family of France. Their estate sits at the foot of Simonsberg Mountain and produces wines with finesse and ageing potential.
