Sherry Wine

Sherry wine is a fortified drink with the addition of a distilled spirit, usually brandy. There are many different styles of this type of wine, including manzanilla, fino, amontillado, palo cortado, olorosa, cream and pedro ximenez sherry.

Fino is the lightest and driest style of sherry. Manzanilla is slightly brinier and has a maritime profile compared to fino. Amontillado is a medium-dry style with a richer, nuttier profile. Oloroso is a dark and full-bodied style with deep, complex flavours of dried fruits, spices, and nuts. Pedro Ximenez (PX) is the sweetest style, incredibly rich and syrupy, with flavours of raisins, figs, and toffee.
