Crafted by Daniel and Georges Daou, this wine is a profound expression of Paso Robles’ Adelaida District. Grown on DAOU Mountain, the fruit benefits from high elevation, calcareous soils, and extended hang time, producing ultra-high phenolics and exceptional purity. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc is fermented with native yeasts and aged for 27–30 months in custom French oak barrels sourced through exclusive cooperage relationships.
Patrimony Caves des Lions is made entirely from free-run juice and bottled without filtration. The result is a wine of immense depth, elegance, and longevity. It reflects the Daou brothers’ vision of creating California’s “first growth” wines, combining power with finesse and minerality.
