From the Douro Valley in Portugal, this exceptional red comes from Quinta dos Murcas’ oldest vineyard, planted vertically in 1947 on steep schist soils. A traditional field blend, fermented in granite lagares and aged for 12 months in used French oak, combines mature red fruit with balsamic complexity and refined structure. Presented in a wooden gift box, it has cellaring potential extending well beyond its current drinking window.
