This bold Spanish red comes from Ego Bodegas in Jumilla, a warm south-eastern region known for powerful Mediterranean wines. Old Monastrell vines thrive in the area’s dry climate and chalky soils, producing concentrated fruit with natural freshness and structure. The winery combines modern winemaking with traditional regional varieties to create expressive, approachable wines.

Monastrell is blended with Syrah and Petit Verdot before ageing briefly in American oak barrels. Careful temperature-controlled fermentation preserves ripe fruit while the oak adds spice and smoothness.
