Chateau Trianon Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2015 75cl
Chateau Trianon Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2015
Chateau Trianon was purchased by former Chateau Cheval Blanc owner Dominique Hebrard in 2000. This 14.5 hectare estate based in Saint Emilion, Bordeaux. Their vines are an average age of 35 years old. All picking is done by hand. The ultimate ambition here is to achieve Grand Cru Classe status for their Saint-Emilion.
This is a wonderful blended red wine in the typical Bordeaux Saint-Emilion style.
- Dry and bold
- Plenty of sharp dark fruit and oak
The first references to this prestigious property date back to the 17th century. This very distinctive terroir was picked out and used to grow vines by one of Louis 14th’s intendants. The king himself loved Saint-Emilion wines that he referred to as “nectar of the Gods”.
