Primitivo Wine

Linking Primitivo to Zinfandel, a variety popular in California, as the two grapes are genetically identical. However, the unique terroir of southern Italy gives Primitivo wines their own distinctive character, often showing a greater richness and concentration due to the hot, dry conditions in which the vines flourish.
