Gaja Costa Russi Barbaresco is produced by the legendary Gaja estate in the Langhe region of Piedmont. The Costa Russi vineyard covers 4.35 hectares in Barbaresco, facing southwest at 230 metres altitude. The vines average 65 years in age and grow on clay-limestone marl soils.
This red wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo, fermented and macerated over three weeks before ageing for 24 months in oak barrels. It is certified vegan and reflects the elegance and finesse of Gaja’s single-vineyard Barbaresco wines.
