Penderyn Distillery revived Welsh distilling in 2000 after a century-long pause, launching its first whisky on St David’s Day 2004. The distillery sits in the Brecon Beacons National Park and uses natural spring water from the surrounding hills.
Brecon Botanical Welsh Gin was created to support Penderyn’s whisky production and quickly gained acclaim. It is distilled in small batches using a unique copper pot still designed by Dr David Faraday. The gin blends pure grain spirit with botanicals from around the world, reflecting Penderyn’s commitment to quality and innovation.
