The rare old soleras range from Gonzalez Byass use only the finest sun-ripened grapes. Expert blending and then maturing in oak casks for a minimum of 30 years. The rare old solera sherries are a true expression of some of the world’s finest and rarest wines.
Produced in very small quantities. Matusalem is made by enrichment of a dry oloroso sherry with 25% pedro ximenez. As well as the additional ageing in its own solera.

- Profound aromas of dried fruits, raisins, spices and mature wood, as well as leather and cocoa
- On the palate smooth and sweet, long and velvety
- Matusalem has an interesting bitter sweet finish due to its mix of the sweet pedro ximenez and bitter tannins from the oak
