Vidal Fleury Cotes du Rhone Rouge Organic
The Cotes du Rhone appellation covers vineyards along the Rhone River, including historic terraced sites where steep slopes mean much of the vineyard work is carried out by hand.
Made from Grenache and Syrah, this organic red wine is fermented under temperature-controlled conditions to preserve freshness. It is matured mainly in stainless steel tanks, with around 10% aged in large 600-litre wooden barrels. Grenache provides richness and volume, while Syrah contributes spice and structure.
- Aromas of red berries, ripe cherries and delicate floral notes.
- Taste of generous red fruit with gentle spice and fine tannins.
- Finish of fresh fruit, balanced structure and a smooth, lingering character.
Pairs well with venison steak, saddle of hare, game stew, roast lamb and hearty meat dishes.
