Vecchia Romagna Riserva 18 Year Old Brandy is produced in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, using Trebbiano grapes selected for their purity and balance. The spirit is double-distilled in copper stills, a traditional method that preserves delicate aromas while concentrating flavour.
After distillation, the brandy is matured for 18 years in three types of oak barrels: French, Slavonian, and American. Each wood type contributes distinct characteristics , French oak adds subtle spice, Slavonian oak imparts structure, and American oak brings vanilla sweetness.
- The nose reveals deep aromas of dried fruits like raisins and figs, balanced by caramel and honey sweetness.
- The palate offers cinnamon, vanilla, and gentle spice, complemented by toasted almonds and a hint of smokiness.
