Bivrost Idunn Whisky

Produced at the world's northernmost distillery in Arctic Norway, where the surrounding landscape and extreme climate form part of the whisky's identity. One of the defining features of Bivrost Idunn is its varied cask maturation. Rather than relying on a single wine cask style, the whisky brings together five different wine and sweet wine cask types, alongside a smaller component matured in ex Mezcal casks.

• Honey, dried apricots and ripe stone fruit lead on the nose, layered with raisins, orange peel and sweet grapes. Floral notes and gentle baking spices emerge alongside hints of vanilla, toasted oak and a subtle touch of smoky agave.
• Rich and creamy, with layers of sweet wine soaked fruit, apricot, golden raisins and ripe peach.
• Notes of honey, candied citrus and warming spices are complemented by soft oak, vanilla and a delicate earthy smokiness from the Mezcal casks. Long, smooth and elegant. Lingering notes of sweet fruit, gentle spice, toasted oak and a faint smoky, vinous character.

The release comprises 8,083 bottles released Worldwide and bottled at 50% ABV.
