Marchesi Di Barolo

Marchesi di Barolo, owned by the Abbona Family, is one of Italy’s most historic wine estates. Home to the first Barolo, born in barrels which are still in use today at the estate after more than two centuries, the winery encompasses vineyards on the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato Nicese hills in Piedmont. Among them, Cannubi is Barolo’s oldest and most prestigious vineyard and a jewel in Marchesi di Barolo’s crown. The Abbonas, now in their sixth generation of the business, remain faithful interpreters of native varietals and their locations, carefully preserving the qualities and peculiarities of each vineyard.
