Malbec Wine

Malbec is a purple grape variety used in making red wine. The grapes tend to have an inky dark colour and robust tannins. They are also one of the six grapes in the blend of red Bordeaux wine. Despite having French roots in Bordeaux, malbec is now most famous in the Mendoza region of Argentina, where it produces deep coloured, full bodied wines.
