Matured is a mix of cask types: sherry seasoned oak casks, an unusual inclusion of red wine seasoned American oak casks, and bespoke hybrid sherry seasoned oak casks that combine European and American oak staves in a single cask.

The whisky’s natural colour is described as “Nevada rock”, chosen to echo the Nevada desert sandstone referenced in the story behind the release.

Presented in packaging which uses behind the scenes work showcasing the creative development of the film, including a script printed on the inside back label, revealed as the liquid is consumed.
