Glenfarclas 18 Year Old Whisky

Glenfarclas is one of Scotland’s few remaining family-owned distilleries, run by the Grant family for six generations. Glenfarclas whiskies are matured predominantly in Oloroso sherry casks, a defining characteristic of the distillery’s style. The different maturation lengths allow you to truly appreciate the cask influence on the liquid.

• The nose is rich and inviting, with layers of sherried fruit, butterscotch and caramel, alongside notes of dried fruits such as raisins and dates, with subtle hints of citrus and nuts.
• The palate is full-bodied and well-balanced, delivering sweet sherry influence with dried fruits, spice and oak. Notes of vanilla, cocoa and warming baking spices develop gradually across the palate.
• A long and smooth finish, with lingering oak, gentle spice and a persistent sherried sweetness, complemented by nutty undertones.

Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to open up the complex sherried character.
