The Sassenach Wild Scottish Gin is a premium London Dry style gin crafted in Dumfries and Galloway. It is made in collaboration with Crafty Distillery, using wild botanicals native to the region. The gin was developed by actor Sam Heughan, founder of Sassenach Spirits, to honour his Scottish roots and the natural landscape of his home.
Botanicals include juniper, rhubarb, crab apple, toasted oats, heather, pine resin and bramble leaf. The distillation process uses copper pot stills and small-batch methods to preserve the integrity of each ingredient. This gin is part of a growing portfolio that reflects Heughan’s passion for storytelling through exceptional spirits.
