Gin Mare is distilled in a converted chapel in Vilanova, a coastal town near Barcelona. The distillery, founded in 1835, is known for its innovative approach to gin-making. This Mediterranean-style gin uses local botanicals like rosemary, thyme, basil and Arbequina olives to create a savoury, herbaceous profile.
Each botanical is distilled separately using a Florentine still, then blended to preserve its unique character. The result is a smooth, aromatic gin with a distinctive savoury edge. It is suitable for vegetarians.
