Bathtub Gin is a small-batch compound gin made in Kent by Ableforth’s, a distillery known for its bold, handcrafted spirits. It is produced using a cold-compounding method, where botanicals are infused into high-quality pot-distilled grain spirit without further distillation. This technique preserves the full flavour of the botanicals.
The recipe includes juniper, coriander seed, cardamom, cassia bark, cloves and orange peel. The result is a rich, aromatic gin with warming spice and citrus lift. It is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Each bottle is hand-wrapped in brown paper, string and wax, reflecting its apothecary-style heritage.
