This is a light-bodied white wine made from Falanghina grapes grown in Benevento, Campania. Montecalvo is a cooperative founded in 1960, now working with over 1,000 growers. The grapes are harvested in late September and fermented in steel tanks for ten days. No malolactic fermentation is used, preserving freshness.
