This elegant Sancerre is crafted from Sauvignon Blanc grown on pebble-rich caillottes soils in the Loire Valley. The fruit comes from the estate’s oldest vines, offering full and concentrated flavours. Joseph Mellot is a historic family estate founded in 1513, renowned for its commitment to sustainability.
Fermentation and ageing take place in French oak barrels, including 30% new oak, adding subtle layers without overwhelming freshness. Aged 11 months in barrel, this Sancerre gains rare breadth and superb ageing potential.
