Founders' Private Cellar 18-Year-Old is a limited-edition single malt whisky crafted from a single rum cask. Selected from one of the finest casks in the founding family’s private cellar. It celebrates the distillery’s heritage and dedication to English distilling. This release echoes the character of the distillery’s earlier Chapter 7 unpeated single malt matured in ex-rum casks, a long-time favourite of the founders.
- On the nose, it presents notes of ripe fruits, caramel and vanilla with a subtle hint of spice.
- The palate is initially full-bodied, revealing warming spices such as cinnamon and clove, smooth vanilla, raisins and boiled tropical sweets, complemented by a gentle oak smoke. Over time, the spice evolves into a chocolate note, adding complexity with every sip.
- The English Founders Private Cellar 18 Year Old Rum Cask Whisky has a medium to long finish. Leaving a lingering sweetness of tropical fruit and oak.
