25 years ago, Clase Azul Tequila had a dream to share the magic and culture of Mexico with the World. The land and traditions are the inspiration behind the iconic bottle.
To make Clase Azul Tequila they use 100% Blue Agave, producing it at one of the highest points in the state of Jalisco. Each agave grows for around 6-8 years, producing some of the best quality tequila available. But it’s not just their extraordinary liquid that makes them one of the biggest tequila brands Worldwide.
Each decanter is handmade, and hand painted by their artisans in the small Mexican town of Santa María Canchesda. About 350 of our skilled workers sculpt and paint them individually, using the Mazahua people's ancient techniques. Each ceramic decanter is a one-of-a-kind piece of art that contains their ancestors' art and their millenary legacy.

The agave core is ground to extract all the juices & begin the fermentation process, induced by proprietary yeast. After several days, the tequila is distilled two times, having a wide cut of "heads" & "tails" to ensure the tequila is of the highest quality.
Each Clase Azul Tequila decanter is unique, handmade & hand painted by artisans in the small Mexican town of Santa María Canchesda. Skilled workers sculpt & paint, using the Mazahua people's ancient techniques.
