These wines are very classical in style, closely modelled on the wines of Bordeaux in France. Indeed they display the same level of elegance, but for a very reasonable price.
The vines are cultivated using organic farming principles and careful respect for the environment, and the yield is drastically reduced to intensify the aroma of the grapes.
The Carmenère grapes are planted on the granitic soil slopes of Orocoipo hill in the Panquehue sub-region of Aconcagua Valley in Chile. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak.
This red wine is intense, complex and of great character, with aromas of fresh blackberry and blackcurrant, intermingled with notes of cedar, tobacco, coffee and roasted hazelnuts. An extremely well balanced Carmenère with soft tannins and an elegant finish.
