Weller Special Reserve is a Kentucky straight bourbon made using a wheated mash bill, replacing rye with wheat to create a smoother, softer whiskey. Produced by Buffalo Trace Distillery, it’s part of the highly regarded Weller line, often seen as a more accessible alternative to Pappy Van Winkle.
Bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof), Weller Special Reserve delivers an easy-drinking spirit with caramel, honey, soft vanilla, and a touch of oak and spice. It’s approachable, full of character, and works equally well neat, on the rocks, or in premium whiskey cocktails.
