The Macallan sherry oak 12 year old forms part of their sherry oak range which features a series of single malt whisky matured exclusively in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity.

When maturing exclusively in oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. The rich, fruity and full bodied ‘new make’ spirit is transforms into a classic single malt. Once the cask is full, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for 12 years.
