This expressive red wine hails from the Monferrato hills in Piemonte, Italy, where steep, sun-drenched slopes provide ideal conditions for Nebbiolo. Produced by Tenuta Il Cascinone, a historic estate revived by the Araldica group in 1999, the Italian wine reflects a commitment to sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention. The Nebbiolo vines were planted in 2005 on a small, south-facing plot, and the wine is crafted to highlight purity and elegance.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel after 15–16 days of skin contact, followed by ageing for up to two years in oak — 75% in large botti and 25% in used barriques. This approach enhances structure while preserving freshness. Avamposti Altrove Nebbiolo is vegan and vegetarian friendly.
