This is a 100% corn whiskey from McCormick Distilling in Weston, Missouri. Founded in 1856, it ranks among the oldest distilleries in the area. The spirit is matured for three years in American oak, then presented in a traditional earthenware jug. That handsome ceramic vessel nods to how whiskey travelled over a century ago.
- The nose is floral, with geranium, honeycomb, dried fruit and a whiff of bread pudding.
- The palate is silky and light, offering sweet corn, soft grain and gentle dried fruit.
