Vega Tolosa Bobal Icon Red, Castila La Mancha, Spain
Made using a selection of the best organic grapes from 80 year old vines in Vega Tolosa’s Bobal Vineyards, and aged for six months in French oak barrels.
Intense ruby in colour. Aromas of red fruit, aromatic herbs, and a touch of spice. Black cherry and dark plum on the palate, as well as a ripple of herbs, and a twist of black pepper on the finish. Subtle and extremely delicious with a moderate but fresh acidity on the palate.
Perfect served with rich and meaty dishes, and stronger flavoured Spanish cheese such as an aged Manchego.
