Celebrate the Father figures in your life with this Whisky and Cigar bundle! What more could your dad ask for! This Fathers Day Bundle contains 1 x 70cl bottle of The Balvenie 12 Year Old Doublewood Whisky and a Romeo Y Julieta No.3 Cigar.

The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old Whisky - Gains its distinctive character from being matured in two wood types. It spends at least least 12 years in traditional whisky casks: American Oak ex-bourbon barrels and hogsheads, and then is moved to Spanish oak ex-Oloroso sherry casks for an additional nine months. The whisky is then transferred to large oak vessels called “tuns” for 3-4 months to allow the whiskies to “marry”.

Each stage lends different qualities to the resulting single malt whisky. The traditional casks soften and add delicate character, the sherry wood brings depth and fullness of flavour and the final few months in the tuns allow the whiskies to marry harmoniously.

On the nose, Sweet fruit and Oloroso sherry notes, layered with honey and vanilla. In the mouth it is smooth and mellow with beautifully combined flavours ~ nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a delicately proportioned layer of sherry. A long and warming finish.

Romeo Y Julieta No.3 Cigar - Named after William Shakespeare’s tragic lovers, the origins of Romeo y Julieta as a Havana date back to 1875. The brand rose to international fame during the early years of the 20th Century under the direction of Don ‘Pepin’ Rodriguez, a talented promoter who was amongst the first to recognise the power of the cigar band. During his heyday no less than 20,000 different bands were used in the production of cigars.

Winston Churchill became a devotee of the brand and following his visit to Havana in 1946, his name has not only been commemorated on a band, but it has also served to describe the marque’s most famous size – Romeo y Julieta Churchills.

Romeo y Julieta’s balanced and aromatic blend of selected filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo zone make it the classic medium bodied Havana.
