Sagamore Spirit Double Oak Rye Whiskey
Two Barrels, one extraordinary Straight Rye Whiskey. After aging the award-winning Sagamore Spirit Signature Rye for four years, it was placed into a second oak barrel for four months. The new toasted staves reinvigorate the ageing process, creating flavours of caramel and dark vanilla and colours that radiate amber and warm chestnut.
On the nose, baking spices, dried orange peel and warm cinnamon. On the palate, smooth caramel and rich toasted coconut with nutty flavours of hazelnut and pecan melded perfectly with vanilla and caramel.
This awesome Double Oak Rye Whiskey was awarded Double Gold, Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America 2018 and 96 Points, The Tasting Panel Magazine.
