The Perusini vineyards are one of the 50 happy few listed by Luigi Veronelli in I vignaioli storici (The Italian Wine-growers Bible), and are leaders in biodiversity.
The Friuli region of northeastern Italy was the powerhouse of Italian white wine production in the 1970s, being the first region to make fresh, modern whites. The Colli Orientali is one of the highest altitude viticultural areas in Friuli, producing some of the most aromatic wines in the region.
Ribolla Gialla is indigenous to the Friuli area, producing whites that combine minerality and aromatics with texture.
Perusini Ribolla Gialla Friuli Colli Orientali has beautiful aromas and flavours of lemon, golden apple, and fresh honeydew melon, finishing with a faint suggestion of grilled nuts and wood smoke and stunning minerality.
A very sophisticated Friuli white that is the perfect match for fish or antipasti.
