Situated amongst the beautiful rolling hills of Western Santa Ynez Valley, Melville is dedicated to producing exceptional cold-climate Pinot Noir,
Chardonnay, and Syrah grown exclusively in their estate vineyards throughout the Santa Rita.
Brilliant ruby in colour, with vivid aromatics of red currant, rhubarb, tangerine zest and fresh cranberry, with intriguing notes of eucalyptus, plum and green tea in the background. The palate is delicate with floral notes of crushed rose petal and hibiscus, combined with strawberry, tangerine, black cherry and baked red apple.
The mouthfeel is focused and vibrant, with a gorgeous minerality and a lively acidity. A plush and harmonious finish.
The perfect partner to roasted birds, wild game, veal stews, grilled fleshy fish, foraged mushrooms, and cheese.
