This red wine is a blend of the finest Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and a small percentage of Carmenere grapes that express the unique terroir of one of the estate’s very best vineyards.
An intense ruby wine in colour, the 2019 Poggio alle Nane has a spicy nose with notes of balsamic, cloves, coffee and liquorice accompanied by ripe, dark plum and blackcurrant fruit. There is also an alluring hint of mint in the background. On the palate, Poggio Alle Nane 2019 is both rich and elegant, with vibrant tannins. Flavours of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and blackcurrant linger on the finish.
