The 2020 DAOU Estate Chardonnay showcases how the Chardonnay varietal is brilliantly expressed on the DAOU Mountain at 2,200 feet elevation in the hills of the Adelaide District on the west side of the Paso Robles AVA. A deep level of minerality emerges from the glass, accompanied by notes of white blossom, yellow apple, lemon peel and stone fruit. An expansive palate shows tremendous texture and depth of flavour. This perfectly structured Chardonnay 2020 promises to evolve beautifully in the bottle.
