The fifth release in the nine-part Distiller’s Cut series from new English Whisky Distillery, Ludlow Distillery. The Distiller’s Cut Series explores nine different cask finishes of this award-winning English Single Malt.

This release was first aged in American oak before being finished in Pedro Ximenez Casks.

  • The result is a single malt whisky with a fragrant nose of sweet honey, subtle cinnamon spice and vanilla balanced perfectly with sherries sweetness
  • Gentle fruit driven finish

As with all the Ludlow Distiller’s Cut Whisky this release is limited to 400 numbered bottles.

How It All Started

Way back in 1995 Mike Hardingham planted a vineyard east of Ludlow, deep in the Shropshire Hills. In 2008, Mike was at the forefront of craft distilling and set about distilling brandy from his grapes and cider brandy from his apple orchard. By 2012, he'd secured a licence to distil whisky and began developing his super small batch products. In 2018, he met Shaun Ward of Ludlow Gin and friendship was kindled. In 2021, Ludlow Whisky became part of the Wardington's family – two master distillers combining their dreams to make the ultimate dram.
