Tenuta Bocca di Lupo Pietrabianca Chardonnay
This White Wine luminous yellow with green hints. The nose leads with both citrus and tropical fruits and underlying aromas of blossom, jasmine and vanilla.
These aromas follow through on the palate with a delectable balance of freshness and weight and subtle minerality.
Named after the regions ancient seaside towers overlooking the Adriatic Sea, Tormaresca adds a fresh dimension to Italy's world-class wine landscape. Indeed, it leads Puglias modern renaissance by combining classic wine-making with the latest viticultural techniques to create exceptional wines just waiting to be discovered.
All Tormaresca wines are crafted with 100% estate-grown fruit. The Chardonnay for Pietrabianca undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in small barrels and is then aged on its fine lees in oak barrels, during which time it went through complete malolactic fermentation.
The Fiano, instead, is fermented in stainless steel tanks in order to fully bring out its freshness. The two grapes are then blended together in January following the harvest in stainless steel.
