Hand-crafted from the finest sun-ripened grapes, expert blending and then maturing in oak casks for a minimum of 30 years. The rare old solera sherries are a true expression of some of the world’s finest and rarest wines.

Made from partially sun and air dried grapes, which are then pressed, fermented, fortified, then aged in Gonzales-Byass's Nectar solera. Transferring a proportion to the Noe solera, where blending of vintages of at least 30 years of age takes place. Creating this unique sherry.

Since its foundation in 1835, this family company have had rapid success in wine production. Manuel Maria Gonzalez had help from his uncle Jose Angel, known affectionately as Tio Pepe. After whom he named his first solera. 186 years later it is still very much a family concern and is now in the hands of the fifth generation of winemakers.
